QAHN turns spotlight on network volunteers in 2026 - Annual Awards Ceremony at Maison Saint-Gabriel in Montreal.

This year's Marion Phelps Award winner is Sheila Achtell. Sheila was on hand to receive her award in person, along with a respectable delegation from Mulgrave & Derry.

Congratulations to Sheila Achtell, Director on the Board of the Mulgrave & Derry Historical Society, and winner of the Marion Phelps award.

Save the date! Saturday July 12, 2025

Please join us for our "Tea 'n History" Open House. Doors open at 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at St. Matthew Parsonage, 643 Inlet Road. Enjoy something sweet and visit the antique house occupied until 1949 by Lutheran pastors and families, which is now home to our local artefacts and photos of our past. As a special treat, we will be showing a video of the Mulgrave & Derry millennial celebrations from 25 years ago!

September 2024

As part of the annual fall Quebec Cultural Days, the Mulgrave & Derry Historical Society will be giving a special presentation on Saturday, September 28 at the Ave Maria Chapel in the Derry Sector (941 Mine Road).

Working with the Canadian Heraldic Authority, a group of six residents designed the official Mulgrave-et-Derry Coat of Arms, flag and badge.

Come and hear about the process and see the symbols and colours used to depict our region and its history. The overview is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. We hope to see you there! Please click on the attached PDF poster for information on the day's events.
